Siachen is considered to be the highest battlefield in the world. Captain Geetika Kaul has become the first woman to be posted as a medical officer in Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield. She is a Medical Officer of Snow Leopard Brigade in Indian Service. She has achieved this feat after rigorous training in Siachen Battle School.
