Chattisgarh News: Bharatiya Janata Party has elected Vishnudev Sai as the new Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Sai is the MLA from Kunkuri assembly seat. Vishnudev Sai, who comes from Kunkuri, comes from the tribal community. He has been MP four times, MLA twice, Union Minister of State and State President twice. After the BJP government came to power at the Center in 2014, he was also made the Union Minister.
Speaking to the media, Sai also talked about the government’s priorities and said, “Our first task is to provide Rs. 18 lakh rupees to the beneficiaries of the housing scheme. Accommodation has to be approved. We will fulfill the guarantees of Modi ji.”
On being elected as CM, he has expressed his gratitude to the top leadership of BJP and the party MLAs. He said, “I have been elected the leader of the BJP legislature party during the meeting of 54 newly elected MLAs. Today, I have been unanimously elected as the leader of the assembly. I would like to thank the party because they have given a small village worker an opportunity to lead Chhattisgarh. I am grateful to Prime Minister Modi, party president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah.” Sai said he expressed his gratitude to all the MLAs.
